Juris Doctorate, Independent Education Consultant
I am a member of the IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) and received intensive training from IECA members to become an Independent Education Consultant. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College (with honors) and Juris Doctor from The University of Maryland School of Law (with honors). At Lafayette College, I worked as a writing assistant for three years and I continued to hone my writing skills for the next 25 years through workshops and work experience. While working as an attorney in private practice and as an Assistant United States Attorney, I was on the Prospective Employee Interviewing Boards and was responsible for interviewing clients and discussing their credentials with my peers. I have also been an Alumni Admissions Representative for Lafayette College for over twenty years and was a member of the Education Committee for The Rumson Country Day School for five years. As I have always wanted to assist students with the college process, I have visited over 200 colleges/universities. Applications are no longer simply a compilation of grades and test scores. They are carefully produced presentations of a student’s personality, strengths and values. I am excited to help students discover their inspiring story to present in their application.
